just seem to work out.
I'm back to work, Amy is off to Ottawa to work at Alta Vista
Animal Hospital for a week in Emergency. Christina is back to work
for the City of Kingston, and we went to Christina's New Home in
Kingston. Well until our next adventure, which we will have,

being processed in the next week, stop in and take a look.

After the most incredable meal, we strolled over to the Tower
with a nice bottle of wine and just reflected on the time we spent together.
By now we are on our way back Home with bags of stuff and hundreds of Memories.

Top picture is everyone, like us that are nobodies that are trying
to get in to Frenchies.
This is us as the sombodies that actually got a table!!!!
Holy Crap this hard to believe!
Ok, this is our last day in Paris, Christina goes on a website
and sees this Restaurant not far from the Hotel that is
considered to be one of the Top 5 NEW Restaurants in France.
Reservations are made 2 months in advance, so we just
show up there at 6:15 and ask for a table, so after using are "Good Looks" and every bit of Charm we could muster, they
said we will see what we can do. Come back in an hour and we could prehaps make room. Sure enough after a short walk in the area, we return about 7:00 and we had a TABLE!!!!
The Owner/Chef is British and was a student of
Jamie Oliver.
There pictures to follow, but it is amazing, amazing, amazing!

This is our home for the next few days.
This is a really Fancy place.
Just crossing the Bridge to Musee D'Orsay.
This Art museum is incredible, it blows the Louve out of the water.
They have paintings and Sculptures from all the world's best.
Will be staying here for a while just to cover a portion of the
exhibits...

Monday 14 May 2012

We are now in Chartres, this is the Downtown as it looks in most of the French cities we have been in so far.
This is a shot from Mid Tower of the Church.
Nortre Dame de Chartres
Hey, we're on the move again, the Trains are so efficient.
We are moving from Rambouillet to Chartres.
This is what was waiting for us.
Almond Croissant, I'll be on a diet when we return, maybe!
Just relaxing by the River andenjoying the Evening.
Everything is just so nice and friendly.
The people are great and always willing to help.
The cities are just like you imagine, narrow streets full
of people and the Buildings are just spectacular.

Here we are at the Palace in Versailles with our tourist look.
This is the Palace Garden in the Background.

Made it to Rambouillet, the train just flys through the Country.
New Place is very nice, except, we are on the Seventh Floor.
This building was built long before there was a thought
of elevators.

Saturday 12 May 2012

This one is for you Ann
Ok, we broke down and had to get the French Lids

See You tomorrow!!!

New Hotel/Apt is wonderful, these are some of the stores on
the block. This Apt. so close to everything and the Metro is
at the end of the Block. Tickets for the Metro are only 12 Euros for
10 Adult passes, it is a great way to see Paris.
Bought some Fresh Pasta, Wine,Fresh Baguettes (which are
so much better than you can imagine) and Oh the Cheeses
are so varied and not expensive at all.
Could stay here for sure! But we are off to Versailles tomorrow.
Enjoy some more pics to follow.
Susan
And more expresso and a little dessert.
Seems to be a lot of drinking and desserts don't you think?
Took a tour of Napoleon"s Paris Apartment.
This apartment is hard to believe, it is so
beautiful and from an era so long ago.
We had to pose for the picture in the mirror, which
was allowed.
Got some rain this morning on the way to the Metro.
That made everyone sad, but only for a short while, as the rain was over
in a few minutes.

Friday 11 May 2012

There is a priceless face in this photo, and its an original!
No one know we took this picture, it strictly forbidden,
please keep it a secret, OK

Remember this above shot from "Dininci Code"
That is Amy holding it from falling into the basement, that was never shown in the movie.

Another picture of Notre dame and then there is a shot of me and some guys.
See the smile.

Thursday 10 May 2012

As Promised, Dessert today at Lunch.
Tastes soo much better than it even looks.
This is at least a month of dieting on a plate.
Hope I don't outgrow my clothes in the next 2 weeks.

Going to head back to the Latin Quarter late this afternoon
to relax and try another french wine, really starting to enjoy
that as well.

Here we go on the bus to the most famous Landmark.
This is FREE breakfast at the Office in The Apt Building.
I stress the FREE as most things are not, however things
are not too expensive. The desserts after meals are however,
I don't care, I'm enjoying each bite. That photo to follow.
